Initially, I sought a daily fixed blade knife that met all my criteria, but none seemed perfect. Thus, I introduce the Redhawk, a robust, medium-sized knife at just under 7 inches. It boasts a curved design for smooth cuts, a reverse tanto/modified sheepsfoot blade with a hint of belly, tall profile, and a 0.12-inch thick blade, offering an excellent balance for everyday use. The acute tip and thin blade excel in fine work and puncturing, while the handles feature a scalloped area for a secure pinch grip. Its full-sized handle with a slightly undersized blade ensures comfort. Both the included polyvinyl Kydex sheath with Discreet Carry Concepts Clip for belt carry and the optional leather sheath by Chattanooga Leatherworks for pocket or IWB carry offer secure and versatile options.
